LISTENING FOR GOD’S VOICE TOGETHER IN THESE TIMES
As we find new rhythms while living within a pandemic, we are offering the following schedule for those who want to participate in this graced group. We have loved the opportunity to gather with a wider community through the online format using zoom and so we plan to continue this format for now. And we miss the opportunity to gather in person.
Here is the monthly schedule we are following until God shows us another plan:
1st, 2nd, 4th Wednesdays: meeting ONLINE via Zoom
3rd Wednesday: meeting outdoors at our ministry office with safety precautions
5th Wednesday: no meeting
You are invited to join us for what some call a ‘mid-week retreat for their soul’. It’s a time to deepen in our friendship with God and practice resting in God’s loving care for us.
If you are finding yourself anxious or afraid, or are looking for a way to make time to simply be with God, this form of prayer can help re-root you in Scripture and the presence of Christ within you and around you.

How to Prepare? What to Bring?
• come as you are
• find a quiet space to listen and pray
• prepare your space – maybe with a candle or cross – something to remind you that Christ is with you
• bring a bible and notepaper or journal or art paper
• bring whatever pens or art supplies that might help you write/color/draw your prayer
If you are new to this form or format of prayer and silence – give yourself permission to feel awkward. This is completely normal. Most of us have not had much experience with extended times of quiet – even 20 minutes. This is one of the reasons we gather together – we discover that we are not alone in the silence and our presence helps hold the space for quiet.
Please feel free to email if you have any questions.
My hope is that you will feel welcomed and supported in your desire to draw near to God.
with love and gratitude for you,
Kim Isaak, MA in Spiritual Formation and Leadership
