It is with great sadness that we share the news that Diane Johnson, a beloved member of our community, has passed from earth to heaven. Diane was a spiritual director with us for many years at Restoration Ministries, and I am sure many of you knew her well.
We are all in a bit of shock. When we saw her earlier this month she seemed so full of life and wisdom that we can’t believe she is gone. She was listening for God’s leading in how she might continue to serve and care for others. What a treasure she was.
She has long been a pillar in the Restoration Ministries community as a spiritual director and board member. She helped to lead clergy retreats, and we often relied on her leadership wisdom when making big decisions. She has been a trusted spiritual companion to many souls throughout the years. Above all, she embodied the presence of love. She leaves a huge hole in our community and in the lives of all who knew her.
