Gathering to pray with the song of Psalm 45, so many of our hearts felt God’s grace poured out upon us.
I, Kim, noticed my longing to keep hearing gracious words stream from the lips of my King.
These were the first few lines of my prayer…
O, how I need to hear them
Gracious words pouring from your heart into mine
Abba, there’s room
space for more of your fragrant grace in my heart
There’s longings to hear
what I can’t quite put in words yet
Seeds are waiting for your grace
to water them and bring them to life…

Bless you as you pause and incline your ear to listen afresh this day.
May there be courage to listen and enter a conversation with the King of Kings.
Psalm 42:1-2, 6-9 NLT
Beautiful words stir my heart.
I will recite a lovely poem about the king,
for my tongue is like the pen of a skillful poet.
You are the most handsome of all.
Gracious words stream from your lips.
God himself has blessed you forever.
Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever.
You rule with a scepter of justice.
You love justice and hate evil.
Therefore God, your God, has anointed you,
pouring out the oil of joy on you more than on anyone else.
Myrrh, aloes, and cassia perfume your robes.
In ivory palaces the music of strings entertains you.
Kings’ daughters are among your noble women.
At your right side stands the queen,
wearing jewelry of finest gold from Ophir!
