Leaning in to God’s unfailing love gives us permission to be present to the reality of this present moment. Sometimes it’s an act of courageous trust, other times an exhausted surrender to what is not ours to control, and other times a welcoming doormat to come home. Always, this unfailing love calls us towards compassion and we begin to truly know that we, the beloved people, belong to God.
Lean into this unfailing love as you pause and begin to pray today. Notice how this Love receives you and holds you.
Psalm 100 (NLT)
Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth!
Worship the Lord with gladness.
Come before him, singing with joy.
Acknowledge that the Lord is God!
He made us, and we are his.
We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving;
go into his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good.
His unfailing love continues forever,
and his faithfulness continues to each generation.
